Dying after a pickup should not be treated like a full route reset. Keep routing around the next collectible.

Need the safer path between collectibles? Use the Level 1 and Level 2 trap route.
The first collectible coin is deliberately placed behind a bush that triggers a trap when approached. The bush itself is a rage-bait setup — players see the coin, rush toward it, and die.
Location
Level 1, early forest path. Visible after the first few trees.
How to get it
Approach from the far edge. The trap trigger zone is centered on the bush. Walk around the bush in a wide arc and collect the coin from behind.
A chest tucked into a side path that looks like a dead end. Most players miss it because the path appears to lead nowhere.

Level 1, mid-section. Look for a narrow gap between two non-hostile trees on the left side of the main path.
How to get it
Ignore the main path when you see a gap on the left. Walk into it — the chest is behind a leaning tree that doesn't fall.
Collecting all coins and chests across both levels triggers a secret ending cutscene. Content creators have confirmed this ending exists but its exact content varies based on which collectibles you found.
Location
Level 2, final area. The ending triggers automatically when all collectibles are found before reaching the final screen.
How to get it
Collect every coin and chest in both Level 1 and Level 2. The ending triggers after the final tree sequence when all conditions are met. Note: dying after collecting a coin does not reset your collection — you keep what you found.
The character creation screen includes hat options. While hats are officially teased for the full Steam release, the demo lets you preview them during character creation.

How to get it
Select 'New Game' and browse the customization options before starting. Hats are cosmetic previews only in the demo — they don't carry into gameplay, but the full release will include collectible hats throughout the game.
A second hidden chest in Level 2, placed in a location that requires backtracking through a trap section you already cleared.

Level 2, after the first checkpoint. Look behind the checkpoint spawn area — a narrow ledge leads to a hidden alcove.
How to get it
After reaching the first Level 2 checkpoint, turn around and walk back along the left edge. The ledge is hidden by foreground trees but accessible by hugging the wall.
